Strange BP Readings

I tried to donate blood this weekend and I was refused. When they measured my blood pressure it was 120 over 120. I didn't think that it was possible to have the same reading for both systolic and diastolic. The nurse tried it a few times, a few minutes apart, and she said that once in a while she got 120 over 110 but many times could not... Read more Chevron

Diltiazem and hair loss

I read a post on this site that says Diltiazem has been found to cause hair loss. I find only scant reference to this in any of the site searches, and 3 cardiologists and 1 dermatologist thus far tell me that it no link between the drug and hair loss has been established. Can someone tell me where this info is being found? Thanks!

How does coffee affect your blood pressure?

I am just learning that I may have borderline high blood pressure and I am a big coffee drinker. Does anyone have any good info on the effects of coffee on your blood pressure?
