Do high-salt foods need warning labels? AMA says "yes"

The American Medical Association (AMA) has asked the Food and Drug Administration to approve warning labels for foods that are high in sodium. Citing health problems such as hypertension and cardiovascular disease, which are associated with a high-salt diet, the AMA has asked for labels featuring pictures of salt shakers with the word "high" and red exclamation points to be affixed to food with high sodium content.
