People who take pine-bark extract supplements are not helping to lower their blood pressure or reduce their heart disease risk, a new study has found. In the new 12-week study, researchers found that people who took pine-bark extract showed little change in their blood pressure levels, cholesterol levels, blood glucose levels, or body weight during the trial period.
