Let me start this week's blog by admitting that I love pork - pork chops, pork roast, pork spare ribs, you name it if it's pork I like it. And since I haven't been able to eat beef (without big, bad repercussions) for nearly 10 years, pork helps to put some variety in my mainly chicken and fish diet....

OMG, I can't believe it!  You have just nailed down for me why I always feel so sick after eating pork.  I used to LOVE eating the occasional pork chop, or some pork roast; but now I never can without paying dearly for it later.  Thank you for reporting this.  Sometimes I think IBD means NEVER getting to eat ANYTHING that I used to love; now I know there may be, albeit maybe only occasionally the problem, other underlying reasons why certain foods make me feel so miserable after ingesting them.  Thank you again.
