About Me

I'm a newlywed and a new homeowner living in Alexandria, VA (goodbye Arlington!), and I work in Washington, DC. I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis in the winter of 2004/5, but after I got my initial flare under control I didn't have any problems until the summer of 2007. Since then I have been struggling to really recover from a bad flare (and have since been told I also have IBS)... it's very frustrating at times, but I can really appreciate the good days!
