Hi Briasmommy,
Thanks for your post. I'm sorry your daughter has been suffering for so long, but happy that she is now getting the treatment she needs.
I applaud Brianna for helping to educate her classmates about her condition! She truly is brave!

HELLO BRIASMOMMY: I HAVE HAD UC FOR 4 YEARS SO I UNDERSTAND WHAT SHE IS GOING THROUGH.I THINK IT'S FANTASTIC THAT SHE IS EDUCATING HER FRIENDS ABOUT HER CONDITION. IT'S DIFFICULT FOR PEOPLE TO GRASP WHAT IT'S LIKE TO HAVE TO EXCUSE YOURSELF 8,10 OR MORE TIMES.TELL YOUR DAUGHTER SHE IS TRUELY A BRAVE LITTLE GIRL.MAYBE SOME DAY THE MEDICAL FIELD WILL FIND SOMETHING THAT WILL PUT UC INTO A TOTAL REMISSION OR EVEN A CURE.
