Crohn's Disease and other forms of IBD can cause significant issues with certain jobs and careers. Flares can happen unexpectedly and mean several days away from the office on short notice. People who have Crohn's disease should communicate their limitations to human resources and work out a schedule that allows for flexibility during flares.
