An endoscopy is a diagnostic test used to identify and diagnose many GI track aliments including Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis. The test uses a flexible tube with a camera on the end to view the inside of the intestinal track. The doctor can also take tissue samples for testing during the procedure.
