At a Glance

Both forms of IBD (Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn's Disease) have similar symptoms.  Patients will experience varying degrees of diarrhea, rectal bleeding, constipation, abdominal pain, weight loss, fever, impaired growth in children, anal ulcers and fistulas.  These symptoms can overlap with other conditions so it is important to have a doctor rule out other causes.
