At a Glance

Regular exercise benefits health and overall wellness in many, many ways.  Different types of exercise, such as yoga, walking and weight lifting, have been shown to alleviate IBD symptoms and even lessen the number of flare ups a patient experiences.  However, a patient with IBD should always start an exercise program under doctor supervision to ensure the activity does not aggravate their IBD symptoms.
