Hi Theresa,   There are a few good options for replacing white sugar in tea/coffee and even baking. Honey is natural, good for you, and delicious in both tea and coffee, honest, I use it every morning. There is brown sugar, also called Turbinado, it's natural, not refined, and better for you than the white stuff. Or, you can try Stevia, now also being sold as Truvia. It's a natural, plant-based sweetener that is also decent.   Personally, I stick with honey and brown sugar.   IBDers shouldn't eat any of the sugar substitutes like sweet n low, etc. as they just seem to aggravate symptoms.   Hope this is helpful to you.   Peace, Elizabeth
