From time to time I get a sharp pain in my upper right abdomn area

I have been diagnosed w acid reflux and I am wondering if this can travel to that area at all. The pain gets better w numerous things such as moving postions, going to the bathroom, and eating. However I am currently waiting on a ultrisound of my liver, as the Dr says it is "slightly" inflammed....
