Hi,

If you can tolerate bananas they can be a very good part of a low residue diet. Your doctor should be able to give you a list of foods that are included and okay on the low residue diet. But, just because a food is on the list, if it makes you not feel well then best not to eat it for a bit, then reintroduce it in a week or so and see how it goes. Our body's change and what we can tolerate one week or month we may not be able to tolerate next week or month.

Best of luck,

Elizabeth
