I'm sorry that Remicade (infliximab) hasn't seemed to help your daughter, Ron. Most patients do show improvement within a month.   Not every patient responds to this medication, so, of course it would be wonderful to be able to predict in advance who will respond, and who will not. There have been a number of research attempts to determine which patients will likely benefit, but none have been reliable so far.   There are other biologics to try, however, even though infliximab doesn't seem to be the right one for your daughter's situation. Ask her doctor about Cimzia (certolizumab pegol), and Humira (adalimumab) and Cimzia, for instance.   Good luck.   Hope
