Hi Joyful,
That's great news that you've been in remission for 9 mos. Re: Nutrisystem, I don't have an answer for you. Most IBDers find it hard to gain weight so weight loss programs aren't a huge topic of conversation for a majority of the community.
Many IBDers don't find that diet has any effect - good or bad - on their IBD, while others, like me, find it makes a huge difference. I no longer eat anything other than whole foods that I prepare. If you like to cook and know how to cook this is pretty easy, and with portion control you can typically control your weight pretty well. You might try working with a nutritionist, or a natural foods chef, or you can try the Nutrisystem and see how your GI system handles it.
Best of luck to you. And if you do try it, let us know how you fare. Your experience could help other IBDers in the future.
Cheers,
Elizabeth

Thank you so much, Elizabeth, for taking the time to answer my question. I ordered Nutrisystem - have only received the non-perishable items (not the fresh frozen) so far. I am still having normal BMs and this is 3rd day. Will keep you posted. Some of this stuff is not so good! LOL!! Joyful
