Q: why does my dr want me to get off my perdiem,he said no more laxatives.They work for me,nothing else does.

I have uc with constipation,i can't have a bm without them,what do i do?

This is a question you need to ask your doctor. He has a reason and you have the right to understand his reasoning. He also needs to give you an alternative. If you feel you are not seeing eye-to-eye with your doctor about your care it may be time to seek another doctor's opinion. It is not uncommon for people to get a 2nd opinion or find a doctor with whom they can communicate better.

Either way, it sounds like you have a specific question and you need to find an answer for your best health.
