Hello Mammonser,

This is a web site for people who are living with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). Your question would be better asked of your gastroenterologist or oncologist who know of your personal circumstance and are versed in working with patients with colon cancer.

Best of luck,

Elizabeth

Mammonser, a not-for-profit organization relating to colon cancer has some recommendations relating to stomach gas.  http://fightcolorectalcancer.org/dr_lenz/2009/05/what_to_do_for_gas_and_abdominal_cramping.  As Elizabeth suggests, though, you should also check with your doctor any time you are worried about a new symptom or digestive issue, since you are a colon cancer survivor.
