Samuie
07/24/08

Diagnosed with crohn's when I was 19yrs old - also had peritonitis - had a few operations for adhesions and blockage etc.. last op 8yrs ago for adhesions and gall bladder removal.

April this year I started having pain down my left side again also had a fever and diarrhea - had a colonoscopy - showed ulcers in my colon - 3 days ago another fever and diarrhea and the pain is so bad! Dr said a flare up - on antibiotics and pain control for 7/10 days - I am at my wits end - I have also had a scan (yesterday) which showed colon swollen - help!

We've had a previous question about how to handle flares. Our expert patient Elizabeth Roberts responded as well as a community member. Check out the question here. Hopefully, the advice will be helpful to you too.
