You don't mention if you have Inflammatory Bowel Disease - IBD. if yes, and this is a new symptom then you should make an appointment to discuss this and any other new symptoms you may be experiencing. You may need to increase your medications, or change your diet as mucus can be a sign of an irritation in the colon's lining.
People with Irritable Bowel Syndrome - IBS - can have mucus in their stool, and the feeling of incomplete evacuation tends to be common for many IBSers. So, if you don't have IBD and this continues it is probably time to make an appointment with a gastroenterologist to discuss your problems and symptoms.
