removing part of colon

I have had lots of polyps,they called them high grade pysplasia,and this time 3rd scope in 3 months, the Dr. called me after this scope and said,I need part of my colon removed I have portion of inflamation in my colon ,He's afraid this will turn into cancer,my family history has lots of cancer.Now he wants me to come in for 1 more scope before the surgery,to see if there anymore changes, last time I had 5 more polyps come in 1 month.If anyone knows anything about any of this please let me know. Thanks so much, I know stress brings on lots of things and I'm really stressed.I've had 15" of my colon removed due to diviticulitus.[I don't have much left] thanks for reading this and maybe someone has the answer.
