Q: inconclusive crohn's biopsy

What does it mean if biopsy from colonoscopy is not conclusive of Crohn's but the small intestine is very inflammed?

Hello Vonnie,

 

This is a question to ask your doctor. But, one cause of inflammation in the small intestine, other than Crohn's, could be Celiac disease, which is an intolerance to gluten.

 

You should ask your doctor if he tested you for Celiac.
