I wipe afterwards obviously, then if I go to the bathroom later (pee) it is like I never wiped after BM.  Just started last couple of weeks, no idea what is going on. help.

noclue, I'd suggest starting out with adding more fiber and water to your diet. (Most Americans--IBD patients, or not-- don't get anywhere near the necessary amount of fiber in their daily diets, as it is. Over about two weeks, your evenual goal is to work up to consuming more or less 30 mg of dietary fiber per day.)

 

You will particularly want to increase your intake of insoluable fiber. Insoluble fiber promotes the movement of food through your digestive system and increases stool bulk. This is especially good for people who are constipated, or who have irregular stools. Whole-wheat flour, wheat bran, nuts and many vegetables are good sources of insoluble fiber.

 

If you have loose, watery stools, fiber may also help to solidify the stool because it absorbs water and adds bulk to stool. In any case, bulky stools are easier to pass.
