Hi, Mickio. Thanks for writing.

 

First stop would be asking your GI doc for a referral; he/she might just partner with a nutritionist who specializes in IBD and/or bowel disease (and, if so, hopefully, this nutritionist is a "good' one!).

 

If this doesn't pan out, contact the closest university-based teaching hospital or medical center GI department; preferably one with an IBD center. Ask for an appointment with, or referral to, the IBD nutritionist.
