Q: response to question from Hope concerning white blood cell count and meds.

Thank you so much for your response.  The only medications that I am taking are zyrtec and a multivitamin and calcium +D supplement.   So I'm not sure if either of those interfere with WBC.

Good morning, Id.

 

As I mentioned in my reply to your Private Message earlier, no, they probably are not related to the decreased WBC. I asked, because immunosuppresant drugs--such as Imuran, 6-MP, steroids, and certain other "mainstay" drugs commonly used in the treatment of IBD--do lower the white cell count.
