Hi Shirley,

I'm sorry to hear of your problems. Unfortunately your situation and question are simply out of my scope of knowledge. I honestly think you need to confer with your doctor and maybe even seek a second opinion.

It can't hurt to try a low residue diet for a week or two. But it's not meant to be a long-term solution as it won't provide enought nutrients, fiber, etc. over a long period of time.

Best,

Elizabeth

Hi! Elizabeth.

Thankyou for getting back to my problem. I know that the real answer is surgery but that is not on my agenda at the moment.

Thanks Shirley
