How do I find out if I can get a scholarship for Crohn's to go to college for Funeral Services?

I have Crohn's disease and I will be going to community college for my general education courses and then to a college that offers a funeral services program to get my degree to be a funeral director/embalmer.  I will be starting this fall and I am having alot of trouble finding out about scholarships.  I see everyone in the country getting free everything for being good for nothing bums.  I am a hard working self sufficient 25 year old male who has to live with Crohn's.  I feel like there has to be something out there for me.  Anyone know anything?

Hi Greg,

I don't know of any scholarship opportunities for people with IBD, but you might want to check with the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America (www.ccfa.org) and ask them if they are aware of any available scholarships for students such as yourself.

Good luck,

Elizabeth
