Hello JC,

I'm sorry to hear of your symptoms. Unfortunately, we aren't doctors and can't really diagnose you here. Diarrhea can be caused by so many different things from a virus to food poisoning to IBD or IBS.

You ticked off the "Living with IBD" category so does that mean you have Ulcerative Colitis or Crohn's? If so, and this is a new flare-up then you should call your GI doctor to discuss what treatment he or she thinks you should use. Keeping an IBD flare at the lowest possible level is the best so you want to talk to your doctor as soon as possible.

If you don't have IBD but your symptoms persist for more than 4 days or worsen significantly then you should probably be seen by a doctor as well.

Best of luck to you,

Elizabeth
