How dangerous is a thrombosed vein or shunt located in the right upper lobe of the liver?? My doctors first told me I have a lesion on my liver. Had numerous tests over this last year and the lesion" has not considerably grown. My doctor's PA said the radiologist's opinion is not necessirly right, but I feel that it is to at least be considered by my doctor. She has been out of town due to emergency for 30 days but will see her on the 13 of May. I go to the GI/Liver clinic to see the doctor who happens to run the whole clinic and is the Best doctor there. My PA said that I had tests and didn't find anything! and she doesn't want to do the MRI the radiologist recommends that I have since the ultrasound(abdominal) didn't help much. Apparently this thing isn't highly visible or they can't recognise the problem. I get mixed answers. Don't know which to believe. I need the MRI so it will show something since the last time I had one was at least a year ago. I am going to insist I do have a problem the tests are evidence. I just want a definite answer from the doctors/specialist doctor. If you can help with an opinion it may help.
