Is there a good way to get rid of the gas? And how long should it last? Days? Weeks? Sorry, it's just a bit embarrassing!

    Hi Leeta,

This is typical and just a part of the process. Curing the colonoscopy, they pump air into your colon to help the scope pass through more easily and to let the doctor see your colon better. The gas should pass, both literally and timewise within a day or two. If it goes on longer than that you might want to discuss this with your doctor's nurse.

Hope you're feeling better by now,
