Nina,

Thanks for your question. I can't seem to find any information about hyoscyamine 0.125 mg being discontinued completely. There are companies that have stopped producing it, but many companies make it, so it should be available from someone. It may be that your pharmacy was stocking a brand that is no longer made, but I would check with your pharmacist to find out more information. If you would like to read more about hyoscyamine, you can go here.

Best of luck,

Casey

I would like to see more information on this, because I have been living with IBD since 2002 and have been taking hyoscyamine just as long. I was just removed from hyoscyamine .325 and put onto Dicyclomine and all that I have been told was that "it's no longer available".

This is ridiculous. They've removed me from a med that has been working for years without so much as an explaination and I don't think the doctors have one to give. It does not strike me as though they are witholding information. I think the pharma companies have been, because I see NOTHING online regarding it not being available, yet neither pharmacy I use can get it...Yell This is the online thing regarding not being able to get it that I can find...at all.
