hi i am 22 years old and i just got diagnosed. i have wilsons disease. they tested me for three years for wilsons and i always tested negative.  i was getting my spleen out and they took a biopsy and found copper in my liver.  however my genetic mutation screening came back negative as well.  currently i am on a low copper diet and syprine (medicine) that has greatly decreased my copper amount in my body and i have been feeling better than ever.  Looks like myself, and your daughter are a rare case of the already rare disease.  I wish all the best to her.  It is good you caught it early, i went 18 years without knowing and now because of it have end-stage liver disease, cirrhosis.  Good Luck.
