Thats the problem, I have degenerative disc disease, L-5 S-1 gone, sciatica, so I sometimes urinate on myself. Now this is happening? The reason my insurance got cancelled was because of some small print, loophole !@#$ ,when they found out how bad my back was. Still employed, just cant work and no insurance. I cant afford to feed my kids because of the greed in this country, and I have looked alot nothings free, I cant affordan ER trip for them to tell me to take more fiber, I have exercised, I have been taking stool softener/laxative. Its just ridiculous, I'm sorry I'm on the wrong site, and I'm labeled a drug addict already, but thanks for answering. I've busted my a$$  since I was 16 yrs. old and this how you get treated. THANKS! Was on Fentanyl but switched to ms contin, so maybe it will get better. I will no longer bother your site!

hurting, I want to help you as best I can; it's just that we're not set up on this site (the IBD site) to answer everyone's questions.

Take a look at these pages, also part of HealthCentral.com; I think you'll find some useful info:

ChronicPainConnection.com: www.healthcentral.com/chronic-pain/?ic=1102

Spinal Health Center: www.healthcentral.com/channel/408/1408.html

If you haven't already, please let your pain doc know about your urinary incontinence. You're probably aware that this can be a symptom of a serious neuro complication of your back injury, which can worsen if not treated promptly. Don't worry about the cost now; when you are finally approved for Medicaid, the provider(s) will be paid retroactively.
