My 5 month old son has just had 20cm of small bowel removed, including ileocecal valve, i am worried about his growth. What should i be concerned with? And how can i best feed him to help him thrive?

He had to have this surgery as a matter of emergency when transfered to a childrens hospiital, because the first hispital missed an intussuseption for 3 days and he had a major obstruction plus the dead small intestine
