Q: natto,insted of cumadin

i have been taking cumadin for 10 years for iregular heart beat  ,but i beleive that natto is safer

Thank you for your question. I'm not familiar with natto, other than a brief look at the information available online. However, if this is something you're really interested in, I would highly recommend discussing it with your doctor before making any changes. Since you've been on coumadin for so long, your body is used to it, and stopping suddenly may cause harmful side effects including blood clots.
