Energy Drinks

Hi, I have been keeping the food diary & been doing very good since I have been on the Lialda. I did however mess up & mess up good last week, the only thing I can figure out that I ate or drank different was a red bull energy drink. Is this not allowed I drank this because It showed to have b-12 & other vitamins in it, also because I feel so tired all the time because of the Crohn's I am sure..

Teri, Red Bull, like many other so-called "energy" drinks on the market these days, is chock full of caffeine--and caffeine is a big "no-no" for  folks with IBD.

 

I suggest that you stay away from, or, at least, really limit, caffeine in your diet.
