Ulcerative Colitis (UC) is a form of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) that causes ulcers to form on the lining of the large intestine. These ulcers will cause diarrhea, blood and pus; the severity of the disease is determined by how much of the intestine is plagued with these ulcers.
