Crohns Disease Medications

MS med Tysabri approved for Crohn's

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved the multiple sclerosis med Tysabri for use in people with Crohn's disease. But the FDA warns that the controversial medication has a rare but serious side effect that should be taken into consideration by a patient's doctor. For this reason, the FDA is only approving the drug for use by patients who have moderate to severe Crohn's disease that has not responded well to other therapies. Read more »
