According to a new study, Crohn's disease patients who do not respond to treatment with Remicade (infliximab) can experience significant improvement in their symptoms by taking Cimzia (certolizumab) every two or four weeks. Statistics show that as many as one-third of people with Crohn's disease who are treated with Remicade will stop responding to it over time, and Cimzia may offer another way for these patients to manage their disease.
