Celebrex lowers incidence of colorectal polyps--but with risks

Researchers have found that one 400-milligram dose of Celebrex per day may decrease the incidence of pre-cancerous colon polyps in people who are prone to developing them. But the benefit appears to come with some risk. Another study looking at the effect of Celebrex on colon polyps found that the drug was linked to increased cardiovascular risk. Read more »
