About Me

Two-year survivor of NHL, and much longer with incontinence/bedwetting. I've been at this most of my life. I can remember going to the store as a kid, buying large, x-large, super size, then toddler large, x-large and super size plastic pants. I was able to wear the toddler-size pants until after high school! Bedwetting went away, more or less, at about age 17, but returned with a vengeance after an accident at age 19. It was then I started buying adult diapers and plastic pants. Chemo affected my control somewhat, so now I wear disposables most of the time. I'm now two years into remission from NHL, and about the same into incontinence. I finally got an exam at the VA, after which they decided to provide me with diapers. They think the chemo did some nerve damage, which may or may not go away. The diapers aren't the best in the world, but they do the trick. I have to double-up during the day, though.
