I am just geting over a case of pneumonia.Symptoms included severe coughing, soreness in my chest, hard time breathing if I tried to do anything that required prolonged activity.
Life goes on, at times I had no choice but to get out of bed.
Whenever I carried anything, walked up a set of stairs,I would have to stop and catch my breath.Whenever this occured,I would wet my pants,so I started wearing my diapers 24/7.
I am feeling much better now,I am just curious, do others who have had a hard time breathing lose control of the bladder?

Hello Andrei,
Good to hear from you again, but sorry to hear you've been sick.
As far as your incontinence problems increasing, it's possible that an existing health condition can worsen or become harder to manage during an illness. With pneumonia and other respiratory illnesses in particular, incontinence may increase when extreme coughing or sneezing occur. I hope things improve as you continue to recover.
I hope you hear from others who might've had similar experiences.
Stay in touch.
Best,
Maria

Thanks for the response.
Yes ,thank you, I am feeling much better now.I was able to stay in over the holliday and get the rest I needed.I was very concerned with what was happening to me,I thought I had lost complete control.
Very scary experience, having a hard time breathing and loosing control of my bladder at the same time.
