Interesting that no comments have been posted here since your initial post in May 2010.. I am a male and your post applies primarily to females BUT here is something of interest be you male or female.. some time ago I was diagnosed with SLEEP APNEA.. in sleep apnea one stops breathing (how different is this from holding one's breath I ask) numerous times each hour.. I am now using a CPAP Breathing Machine to assist with my sleep apnea and I have certainly noticed that my noctural enuresis (a medical term for bedwetting I believe) has decreased.. has it totally stopped.. no it has not.. BUT at the same time it has been reduced to the point where sometimes.. once in awhile.. I awake with a 'dry' adult brief.. I also have (while wearing my CPAP mask') accidently' fallen asleep for a short 'nap' with NO ABSORBENT protection and awakened 'dry'.. I have not read too much about sleep apnea and any connections with nocturnal enuresis.. what a great 'forum' this is.. thank you so much Health Central !
