Alcohol is a bladder irritant and can increase the severity of incontinence. Even though drinking alcohol in the past didn't bother you, it's possible that you're more sensitive to the effects alcohol can have on urinary problems and conditions because of your TURP. And, as you know - anything on an empty stomach generally works more quickly and intensely.
