I'm sure many of you, like me, have been dealing with incontinence and the associated issues for a long time. And, like me, I'm sure you have had your share of disappointments in trying to obtain medical care for it.
I don't think doctors and their staff mean to be uncaring or insensitive. I...

I totally agree. I wish they would do better. I have my Dad that has been going into the hospital because there are problems with his blood thinner and my boyfriend who had a heartattack and is still having problems but his doctor told him the little pain he feels in his chest is nothing to worry about. Myself I have been dealing with incontinence for 6 years now. I have no feeling of when my bladder fills, just constant pain and the feeling of throwing up. They did diagnosis me with intersistal cystis but I have no feeling in when I have to go to the bathroom. I am tried of leakage all day long that I have to wear a pad for. I knew that many suffer with worse, so I am greatful that is all, but I am tired of pain, leakage, and the feeling of throwing up with no real anwsers. I once talked to a doctor about the severe spasms I felt in my left side, and if he knew anything about the muscles around the bladder he said no. I called out of state doctor and they said it was interstital cystis symtoms. I once asked my doctor why I still leak why I took detrol, he told me I had to learn control, when I told him I can't feel the urge. When He then opened my bladder and watched it leak out and said I had some stress incontinence. I talked to another they say they have surgery to help this. I know what you mean by doctors being not so helpful.
