Without going into a lot of detail, I've developed UI and spasms after surgery about a year ago. I've finally persuaded my health insurance provider to allow my urologist to try botox. I know some urinary retention is expected (I can self-cath if needed) but I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this, and how long the retention may last. Thanks.
