Hi my son has been having pants wetting for about 2 months now. My wife wants to put hin back in baby diapers she went out and got some last night and had him in the diaper all day today I don't like this how can I get her to use pull ups instead. Please help me out with this thank you

The diapers are so much easier to use for changes. With pull-ups you must remove the shoes and clothing, with diapers you can pull the pants down to change the diaper. If he fits in Pampers or Huggies, just plan to stick with them. Support your wife as she is probably doing the bulk of the work with him. I know when I was struggling with wetting, the diapers were actually better for me as I was so stressed about peeing my pants. With diapers, I was still asked not to wet my diapers and to try to use the potty. Just because he is in diapers, doen't mean he is required to wet in them. If he does wet the diaper, just change him as needed and don't scold him.

Well I have to say that I am not mad at him. It does seem to be helping he has asked to use the toilet a cupple of times. Right now my wife has had him in the pampers 24/7 sometime he will just stand their and wet right in front of her and when he does that she will keep him in the wet diaper for a while. He is home schooled so its no problem so he goes around the house in just the diaper.I thank you for your commet

LEARN HOW TO SPELL! Anyways i do belive that diapers are the way to go im 15 and suffer from complete bowel and bladder Incotenice. My mom puts me in Abena X-plus becuase they are the most absorbent. However, they are somwhat bulky so give it a try its better then baby diapers. When at school the nurse changes me but at home my mom does. So yup i am Incotient but its all good, infact im in a messy and wet diaper right now!

My husband and I talked it over and we are putting our 13 yeard old son back into cloth diapers and plastic panties 24/7. I have been finding pee and poop stains in his underpants when I wash his cloths. He also has been wetting his most nights and have found his wet pants from when after his has wets and some times mess in his pant during the day. I asked him after I started his underpants what was going on. He said some times he just does not get a wronging in tme to make it to the potty. I ordered 6 dozen cloth diapers and a dozen plsatic panties for him to wear.

How does your son feel about the diapers? Does he like wearing them better than wetting himself?

It sucks to wet your pants and feel so bad. The diapers help maintain a little self esteem. I am positive that he is not wetting on purpose and just can't help it. I had those same pronlems when I was 9 also and used to wet my bed nightly and had a lot of daytime accidents. Tehy fould out I have a mild form of Spina bifida that block some of the signals when to pee. As long as your son knows it is not his fault and he should never feel bad about using an aid (diapers) to help him live a better life. Once I was back in diapers and not forced to use the potty for peeing, I felt so much better. It was so stressful before the diapers and the shame and embarassment was awful. the diapers were by far the lesser of two evil! Stand behind your son, never use them as punishment, let him know you love him, and let him know your proud of him for handling this like a little man!

Once i got used to diapers I was a lot happier too. The good thing with the diapers now is that they are quiet and thin. When I was in Pampers they were thick like cloth diapers and crinkled when you moved. He should do pretty good at keeing them hidden under clothing. A lot of parents don't understand that 24/7 is much easier for the parents and the child once they commit to diapers. Stand your ground as a parents and just continue to love him every day.
