I have had a problem with bed wetting and some day accidents off and on since I was six. I used to always think I was the only one, untill looking one the internet and talking to my urologist. I was recenly adopted into a great home. Although my adopted parents make me wear disposable underwear at night. It is embarrassing but it is not like anyone knows but them. I joined this site to get the inputs of others with the same problem hoping to give advice as well.

I know now that my problem is not as big of a deal as I used to make it. It is not like I am dying from a terminal illness, or have disease. Hopefully it will stop completely. If it doesn't I will just consider my self lucky that it's only bed wetting and not something that is a serious threat to my life. I have recently been put on a medication called DDavp. If anyone knows about please share.

Although it is very embarrassing to have a problem with wetting, it is not like my friends know at school. I am still a well liked person and I am going out with a senior football player in my highschool. I refuse to let my night problem bring me down :) I just want to make the best of life and accomplish something big in my future.

I want to know more about the causes of incontinence, and secondary enuresis.

I know what it's like. I have had problems all my life. Just wanted to let you know you're not the only one!

I applaud you for taking control by going online to educate yourself and going to a doctor - that's so much more than a lot adults are even willing to do! I hope the medication helps. Keep your chin up!

I'm currently in your situation, even though it happens less often. Working in the medical field, many of my co- workers often make rather rude remarks when they talk about people like you and I. It will only make you stronger in the end. I'm 21 and have had to deal with it a long time..

You are on the right track, some days just suck...I know...but you just get through, It; inspirred by you positive words and williness to accept and you want to unnderstand. keep at it arms length beacuse it's not you, it's only a part of you that is there sometimes...like a zit, or bruise but more annoying. My hat's off to you!!!!! Good luck and Be Good!!!
