I am suffering from the condition of  overactive bladder, incontinence and bladder spasms.  I see that the FDA has approved topical gel for this and wonder what other's reaction is since the product is suppose to be released this spring.  Also does anyone know if there is there a clinical trial that will pay for transportation somewhere in the Baltimore Washington area, Maryland or Delaware.  This condition is like labor pains as anyone who has it can testify and I am so glad that the FDA approved something that does not have the damage to the liver that other drugs might. I am getting medicaid and SSI for back problems.  I was told by my urologist that people who have had back surgery like myself often have problems with incontinence and spasms. Perhaps we will get some relief with this product by the grace of God and by using the gel.

The article by Jasmine Schmidt was very helpful. My mother is incontinent and we were wondering if medicare will pay for supplies. Even though the answer is no it is good to have an answer. Thank you

I have had my incontence supplies paid for by Medicare at a local medical supply store here in Maine. I use Tena pull ups

I am at a loss that online stores will tell people that Medicare will not pay for those supplies

Try a local shop is my best advice

That is because you are in Maine. Each state is different. I'm in Missouri and they do not cover this type of product. Unfortunate, it costs me hundreds a year in supplies.

Who should I call? You mentioned a representative. I am not clear on how to figure out who will this be? Perhaps you meant calling social security and asking hte operator?
