Yes, East Coast winters pale in comparison with the frigid Midwest! However, perhaps it might be easier for some of us to manage incontinence while enjoying winter leisure activities and sports, etc. Being able to comfortably wear heavier clothing sometimes allows for easier storing of extra pads, liners and disposable wash towels. In contrast, summers can be especially difficult for those of us with this condition. But maybe thats a topic for another day!

So far as managing incontinence is concerned, winter is an easy time, even in this warmer part of the world. Wearing more clothes is never a problem. But, as John suggests, summer is the challenge. Hot days, minimal clothing, sweaty briefs, airconditiong - these are the challenges. Give me winter any time! regards, Graeme

Both great comments - thanks for pointing out the silver lining in this rough weather! In drastic comparison to last week's frigid weather, this week has been downright balmy, bringing about the best of both worlds - able to wear heavier clothing, but without weather so cold that I'm afraid to go outdoors!
