another victim of mesh erosion

Hello! I am another victim of mesh erosion and certainly am concerned about where to go from here. I wish that I had never heard the words! Anyway, I wonder if anyone can tell me how to get our Drs. to take this stuff out of me! My new surgeon wants to cut the bad part out and sew me together, but I am only 45 and concerned that this will only repeat itself. Can anyone please help me?
